Your exploration begins outside PJs coffeehouse, a local treasure that features beignets. 

The tour itself focuses on the historic Garden District, lasts two hours and covers about 1.5 miles.

Historical context acknowledging the indigenous presence, the slave economy, the patrons of the mansions along with the architects are discussed.
